The Floating Point

The Floating Point: Floating point arithmetic is used in computer science to represent real numbers with fractional parts. However, due to limitations in the way computers store these numbers, some oddities can occur. For instance, computers can’t always accurately represent certain decimal fractions, leading to unexpected results in calculations. For example, adding 0.1 and 0.2 in some programming languages might result in a slightly inaccurate value due to the limitations of floating-point representation.
